how do you put a chandelier and a fan in the same room together?

will putting the chandelier and the fan in the same room cause the chandelier to swing or something….and also the chandelier is to be put in the centre of a ceiling and so is the fan…how to adjust both?? i love chandeliers and just WANT one in my drawing room but i don’t have central air- conditioning n due to the weather of the city tat i stay in, fan is a necessity…please help..my ceiling is square in shape…
jayakumaran n….i did not know how to comment on your answer so m adding this in the additional details…what you say is logical but pedestal fans look ugly and it would only end up spoiling the decor of rest of the room….any other suggestion?? and thank you for responding to my question…
